Starting of motors with rated capacity of 5000kW and below and voltage class of 15kV and below.

Motor starting reactor: it is connected in series with AC motor to limit the starting current of motor, the reactor will be cut off after the machine is started.

The products are used in power systems below 15kV and are suitable for power systems, electrified railways, metallurgy, chemical industry.

Electric motor soft start in urban power grid substations with high fire protection requirements such as petroleum, electromagnetic interference requirements and limited installation site, when the AC asynchronous motor is started under the rated voltage, the initial starting current is too large, which often exceeds many times (generally 5-8 times) of the rated current. In order to reduce the starting current and do not affect the power grid, the AC asynchronous motor is usually started by reducing the voltage, Reactor or autotransformer is commonly used. The starting process of AC motor is very short (usually several seconds to two minutes). After starting, the reactor or autotransformer for step-down starting shall be cut off. This product is designed according to the starting characteristics of high-voltage asynchronous motor. The general motor power is 220-4800kw.
