Overview
The motor soft starter starts the reactor, which passes through AC current and is connected in series with the electric machine to limit the current during motor starting. In order to reduce the starting current and minimize the impact on the power grid, voltage reduction is usually used to start the AC asynchronous motor. The commonly used voltage reduction method is to use a reactor.
