Some customers will encounter the problem that the soft starter can not start the motor, and the following share the common reasons for not getting up the motor.
1. The parameter Settings are unreasonable. For relatively heavy loads, it is recommended that the startup time be slightly extended and the current limiting multiple be slightly increased. If it is a relatively light load can not start, then observe the changes in voltage and current when starting, find the real reason, and then adjust.
2. Start with full load when starting. The soft starter belongs to the step-down start, the step-down start will sacrifice the initial torque, that is, the strength is not so large when starting, so under normal circumstances, it is recommended that the user, light load start heavy load operation. If the heavy load must be started, then the soft starter is not the ideal start, it is recommended to use the frequency converter to start.
3, starting line voltage drop is large. The site often encounters insufficient transformer capacity in the factory, small cable diameter, and cable aging, resulting in excessive voltage drop in the starting line, which will also cause the soft starter to fail to start. The specific solution is to appropriately reduce the current limit multiple, extend the start time, etc. If the problem is still unresolved, it is recommended that customers increase capacity and voltage regulation.
