Overview
Arc-suppression coil in China's 3-35KV power supply system, most of them are ungrounded neutral systems. In the event of single-phase grounding, the power grid can still operate with faults, which greatly reduces operating costs and improves the reliability of the power supply system. The previous solution was to install an arc suppression coil at the neutral point to compensate for capacitor current and suppress the probability of arc light occurring at the fault point. It is obvious that the purpose of this method is to eliminate arc light, but due to the many characteristics of the arc suppression coil itself, it is difficult to effectively compensate for the capacitance current, especially the harm caused by the high-frequency component to the power supply equipment cannot be overcome. Intelligent arc suppression device, which uses a set of vacuum contactors that can be controlled in phases to ground the faulty phase when arc grounding occurs, achieving the goal of completely eliminating arc light.
