1. Phenomenon

2. Principles of Handling
(1) After discovering the cracking, oil leakage, expansion, and deformation of the frame type capacitor housing, record the location of the capacitor and check whether the unbalanced protection reading (unbalanced voltage or current) of the capacitor is abnormal. Immediately report to the control personnel for emergency shutdown treatment.
(2) When oil leakage is found in the casing of a collective capacitor, the severity should be determined according to relevant regulations, and the defect should be registered and eliminated according to the defect handling process.
(3) When the pressure relief valve of the collective capacitor is found to be activated, relevant personnel should be immediately reported for emergency shutdown treatment.
4, Abnormal sound
1. Phenomenon
Capacitors are accompanied by abnormal vibration sounds, leakage sounds, and discharge sounds. The abnormal sound has significantly increased compared to normal operation.
2. Principles of Handling
When there is abnormal noise, the metal frame should be checked for loose or detached bolts, the capacitor sleeve should be checked for creepage, and the grounding should be good.

1. Phenomenon
The outer surface of the porcelain sleeve is severely contaminated, accompanied by a certain degree of corona or discharge. There are cracks and damages.
2. Principles of Handling
The surface of the porcelain sleeve is severely polluted and accompanied by a certain degree of corona discharge. If conditions permit, electric cleaning can be used first. If there is obvious discharge or severe corona phenomenon on the surface of the porcelain sleeve, or if the capacitor is cracked or damaged, relevant personnel should be reported immediately for emergency shutdown treatment.
