High voltage solid-state soft starting device is a high-voltage motor soft starting device designed with the latest concept, mainly suitable for the control and protection of squirrel cage asynchronous and synchronous motor starting and stopping. This device is composed of multiple thyristors connected in series and parallel, which can meet different current and voltage requirements.
Working principle
Controllable silicon voltage regulation start: By adjusting the conduction angle of the three-phase anti parallel thyristor, gradually increasing the motor terminal voltage, achieving smooth acceleration, and limiting the starting current (usually 2-4 times the rated current).
Bypass switching: After the motor reaches the rated speed (about 90%), the bypass contactor closes and the thyristor valve group is short circuited to avoid long-term power loss.
Closed loop control: Real time acquisition of voltage/current signals, dynamic adjustment of start-up curves (such as current limiting and voltage ramp modes), integrated overcurrent and phase loss protection functions
This product is widely used in industries such as power, building materials, chemical, metallurgical steel, papermaking, etc. with a rated voltage of 3000-15000V. It can be well matched with various electromechanical equipment such as water pumps, fans, compressors, crushers, mixers, belt conveyors, etc., making it an ideal starting and protection device for high-voltage motors.
Soft start device configuration: divided into two structural arrangements
Split structure: The upper level has a motor output cabinet, and the cables from the motor output cabinet are led out to the soft start cabinet, which in turn leads out to the motor.
The integrated high-voltage solid-state soft start cabinet combines the switchgear and soft start into one switchgear, with a small size and easy installation, and can be installed in parallel with other switchgear.
