During the operation of the high-voltage capacitor compensation cabinet, a circuit short circuit fault may occur due to various reasons such as capacitor accidents, fuse melting accidents, short circuits, insulation aging, human operation errors, etc. Under tens of thousands of amperes of short circuit current, high-temperature and high-pressure gas is instantly generated. If the high-temperature and high-pressure gas cannot be effectively released in a narrow cabinet in a very short time, it will cause the capacitor cabinet to explode, adjacent capacitor cabinets to be damaged, and may also endanger personal safety. Therefore, effective pressure relief measures must be considered in the design of high-voltage capacitor compensation cabinets.
2, Requirements for pressure relief device of high-voltage capacitor compensation cabinet
All high-voltage capacitor compensation cabinets, high-voltage filter compensation cabinets, and other switchgear in our company consider pressure relief devices during the design and production phase. The design and construction requirements for pressure relief devices are as follows:
1. Direction of pressure relief: The direction of pressure relief for the high-voltage capacitor compensation cabinet must prioritize top pressure relief. When it is difficult to achieve top pressure relief, pressure relief behind the cabinet can be considered;

1. The pressure relief measures for high-voltage capacitor compensation cabinets (ZRTBBX/ZRTBBBZ/ZRTBBG series) The isolation switch, capacitor, reactor, contactor, and discharge coil of this series of high-voltage capacitor compensation cabinets are all located in the pressure relief channel of one room, with the pressure relief direction towards the top of the cabinet. The pressure relief window is a rectangular metal top plate, which is connected to the top of the cabinet with hinges on one side and fixed with nylon screws on the other side. When a malfunction occurs inside the cabinet, the top plate deforms and opens, releasing pressure and releasing gas. After the pressure is released, the top plate is scrapped and needs to be replaced before it can be put back into operation.
Note: 1) Nylon screws should have a certain strength to ensure that they will not fall off or be damaged during transportation.
2) It is necessary to ensure that the pressure relief door can be quickly and completely opened in the event of an internal arc fault, and that the components of the pressure relief device do not detach or fly away from the cabinet.
